Throughout history, tabletop decoration has been at the nexus of utilitarian function and innovative design. In At the Artisan’s Table, designers and event producers Jane Schulak and David Stark pair historical table wares from the world’s finest design museums with pieces by an international array of contemporary artisans who reinterpret traditional crafts and styles, including Aptware (marbled clay), blue-and-white Delft, chinoiserie, faux bois, plaster, splatterware, and trompe l’oeil. Each chapter features a museum object that serves as a “muse”; the work and studio of the artist who has updated the traditional craft; and gorgeous table settings designed by Schulak and Stark that incorporate the artist’s handmade wares and provide inspiration for everyone who has ever wished to wow their dinner guests.

Standard Delivery

  • Free Standard Delivery for all orders over $150* excluding bulky & oversized items. Refer below.
  • A flat rate of $9.95 for all orders under $150

Your order will be processed and dispatched within three business days from the date your order is received.

*Excluding bulky & oversized items. Shipping rates for oversized and bulky items including but not limited to lighting, furniture, artwork, large baskets and some fragile items, will be quoted to you separately.

Express Delivery

  • A flat rate of $20* excluding bulky & oversized items. Refer below.

Your order will be processed and dispatched the next business day from the date your order is received. All parcels are posted with the terms ‘authority to leave’ which means that Australia Post will leave your parcel in the safest place/at your door if no one is home to answer.

Click & Collect

  • At the time of checkout, simply select the option to ‘Pick-up’ and then complete your purchase. 
  • When your order is ready for collection you will receive an email notification. 
  • You can collect your order from our store at 1036 High St, Armadale (VIC).
  • Orders placed before 3pm will usually be ready to collect after 4.30pm the same day unless there is an unforeseen delay.
